Eco Adventure Ziplines uses a proprietary deceleration system that makes it easier to slow down when approaching the landing areas. Some of the zipines do require guests to participate in this Active Breaking process. Guests are never required to grab a hold of the zipline to slow themselves down. Instead, they gently pull down on a blue “break strap” as they approach the end of the zipline. The receiving guide is there to catch you as you coast into the zipline landing.

Eco Adventure Ziplines uses the beautiful rolling hills near Hermann, MO to provide guests an amazing view above the treetops without ever ascending more than 15 stairs at given time. Many of our lines take off from and land on the ground. You gain height as you zip out over ravines!
-
Both courses start and end in the same area. We do not shuttle you anywhere.
Our first zipline takes off from the the edge of our parking lot and zips you into the edge of the woods. The last zipline zips you right to the landing of the first zipline. It is just a short walk through the grass back to our office.
The zipline course is essentially a giant loop that brings guests right back to where they had begun. We do not shuttle anyone in any vehicles.
-
For the safety of our guests, no one can enter the zipline course unless they are on the zipline tour, accompanied by zipline guides.
-
Guests are able to take their phones or cameras, but they must be secured on their person. While we want to give our guests the opportunity to take photos, we cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged phones or cameras. For the safety of our guests and guides, we are unable to retrieve any dropped items while ziplining, so please secure all items you plan to take with you.
-
We want everyone to enjoy the adventure but due to costs incurred in preparing for and guiding your tour, we cannot issue refunds or vouchers if guests, including children, change their mind and do not wish to zipline.
Our guides are patient and will work with guests to overcome fears.
The first few lines on our both of our zipline adventures are our smaller, slower lines. This lets you gain confidence before you go onto the bigger and higher lines.
-
We do not operate in thunderstorms, steady rain or strong winds. We can operate in a brief light rain but will delay for a steady rain. We can and do operate in cold and hot temperatures.
If Eco Adventure Ziplines needs to cancel a tour due to weather, we will contact guests approximately 90 minutes – 2 hours before the scheduled tour time. We contact guests through the number they provided on their reservation.
We make a final decision regarding operating a tour 90 minutes before that tour. We use the most up-to-date radar and weather forecast available at that time.
We do not offer refunds when tours are cancelled due to weather. We offer a rain check voucher which may be used for 1 year from the original tour date.
-
We ask all guests to wear sturdy closed toe and dress comfortably for the weather.
-
Guests must arrive 10-15 minutes prior to their schedule zipline tour time. We use this time to sign your waiver, get your gear on, watch a safety video and answer any questions you may have. Tours leave at the tour time.
If you arrive earlier than 30 minutes prior to your tour time, there may not be a staff member to greet you for your tour. The reason for this is staff are still on the tour scheduled before yours.
If you received a confirmation email your tour is reserved. You may wait at the picnic tables outside of the office or in the woods.
